 Outwardly, Gojira seems to be calm, professional, sometimes very polite, and sometimes very sarcastic.  Every once in a while, however, his somewhat sheltered origins show through.  He is very excitable about Westerns, and will usually begin to forget the l/r difference in sentences when he starts to talk about them.  He is also very, very superstitious, and dislikes most forms of magic.  He is terrified of the spirit world, in particular ghosts, an artifact of several horror movies that he had seen as a child.
 His core personality is that of a knight-errant.  He views his association with the Yakuza as one of ‘sticking up for the little guy’.  Gojira has a somewhat idealized view of the ninja and the Yakuza, and tries to follow bushido.  As he was never a full ninja, the supplementary philosophy of kagedo (Way of the Shadow) was never taught to him, and so the harsh reality of the ninja life never entered his world.  As a metahuman, he believes the New Jersey Way is the right way for the Yakuza, but is too polite and too minor in the ranks to say so.  As a Shadowrunner, he tries to personify the hard professional, and never leaves a job undone.  He doesn’t really have a clue what he’s doing, but he does his best to fake it.  He tends towards a more altruistic attitude towards the destitute and helpless than most Shadowrunners.  He has been known to fly into uncontrollable rages when he finds particularly egregious violations of the innocent, in particular women and children.

 A mid-level officer in the rebel movement against the Imperial Japanese, the Huk, Carlos is best known for his use of antique firearms when fighting the Japanese.  As a Japanese national, Gojira is not well liked by Carlos, but their professional relationship has been beneficial to both.  Carlos was an excellent source of illegal goods, and traded them for intelligence on the Japanese.   While rare, Gojira would also participate in raids against the Japanese military, or more commonly, against Japanese corporations.  When Gojira was reassigned to Seattle, Carlos maintained contact, with the same agreement.  Goods for information, and possible help against Japanese targets.

 His manner of dress is reminiscent of Yakuza gangsters of the 20th century; a fedora (with a slight notch cut into the brim to accommodate his horn), suit and tie, and a long coat.  Sometimes he dons the more traditional garb of a ninja.  He has the intricate tattooing indicative of membership with the Yakuza on his left arm.  He is approximately 24 years of age.
