Session 1 (3/20/08)

At the Neugenics cryo-facility, Malcom began to download the building. Gojira started making preparations to blow up the lab, while Ari found a door with the elusive letters P.E. - 01 on it and asked around for people who could open it. Malcom encountered vampire probe ICE. Make that an enemy decker. The decker belonging to Paul Williams, who was apparently under contract to preserve the Neugenics facility.

The team hightailed it home. Alex set up a datasearch for the creepy drawing of a soul-eating spirit. Ike followed Paul's lead, plumbed the depths of Neugenics, and found a Garage Door Opener to attach to the van. Gojira and Malcom got surgery, and Ari got a call with another job.

The italians are technically backing the transpacific Yakuza, and we are to facilitate a change of management on a Yakuza club with Backrooms. Beta team settled on 200,000 Nuyen, for the night of the 20th, changeover to occur at 11:00 PM. The z25 club, in Downtown Seattle. Ike let Alex borrow a sustaining focus.

Paul had the decryption algorythm to the pocket secretary delivered to the warehouse, once again demonstrating a complete knowledge of beta team's habits. And Beta Team received Paul's Objectives.

Session 2 (3/27/08)

The team spent some time going over the plan, and Ike spoke to his grandfather. Ike went high, to the roof of the club, while the subteam of Malcom and Ari circled one way, and Alex and Gojira another way. Ike attempted to go through the roof access point, using his pocket secretary as a bypass. Ike gave information on three people communicated upstairs, and two people getting horizontal. At 9:00, A&G went in first, Alex introduced himself as there for the gambling. Gojira made contact with his contact and got information on one of the primaries.

Alex and Gojira located one of the primaries, and went on recon upstairs, while Malcom and Ari kept an eye on the primary in the BTL booths from the arcade. A&G located the second primary on the first floor in the corner of the dance room. Much time was spent watching and waiting for the primary to move from the dance floor.

Alex made a move by mentioning the Akira. The Yakuza took them downstairs. Ike neuro-stunned two guards. A&G spoke to the Yakuza, and after some stammering Gojira's cover story, before Alex stunned one guard and Gojira attacked the other with cyberclaws. He hit heavily, but was thrown by his prey, despite being four times his mass. The primary almost made it into the hallway before Gojira grabbed him and made a Pez dispenser out of him. Alex, slinging stunbolts and dodging bullets,

Malcom and Ari began to implement the same plan. The guard began clearing the poker room. One of the guards was another adept with killing hands and moved faster than Ari. Ari hit him, shook him up, and gained the advantage. Gojira shot and killed the primary. A guard threw Malcom, Gojira drew his attention. Malcom backstabbed his target with the stun baton, and the adept surrendered. For 10,000 Nuyen the adept delivered the building. Ike dumpshocked the building rigger.

Session 3 (4/3/08)

The team completed the takeover of the building without incident and received payment. When Mal, Al, and Ari went home with Ike, and found Lacy on their couch. Lacy alerted them to a possible threat. The team has a new list of things they need: identities, locations, vehicles, In order to attain the cargo space necessary to do some smuggling, Ike, Lacy and Malcom went to obtain a pickup truck. Ari and Gojira engaged in some sparring while Alex worked on his spell. Malcom fast-talked the guy at the dealership, and Ike became a ricer. Lacy dropped the salesman who was asking Malcom for a license, and Ike took the other car. Lacy killed the other dealer and the two met up at the Rite-Aid.

The news was quick on the scene, and linked Malcom to Ari and Alex. The team painted the two vehicles, acquired camping gear, and met Jimmy, and began on their road trip. The team went farther south than they have ever been, and when the customers came calling, the team was waiting for them. The handoff was simple, but the team then had to get to the second point. The team camped out for the night.

In the morning, the team drove to a closer location and began to hike. They made it to beta site, a small shed in a clearing on a ridge. Gojira found a faint foot trail around one side of the clearing. Alex summoned a watcher spirit and the two of them, in astral space, and found a ward that vanished the spirit.

Alex then located the spirit, and it was angry. It attacked Alex, who defended himself. And then the spirit materealized, and the Malcom and Alex shot it up heavily. It did not appear to care, but placed a column of flame on Alex. Apparently, snowballs did the most damage to the thing. Alex was attacked a few more times and summoned some earth elementals. The fire elemental/demon escaped, and the earth elementals were told to find the spirit of the land, Chinuko. Chinuko informed Alex that Daniel Two-Ton was taken by the Old Ones to their Curators. The curators had a dispute with Daniel about territory. Daniel was argued with, fought, subdued, and kidnapped. Chinuko This is probably Mt. hood in Elven country. The team contemplated going on a wilderness hike, but decided against it for a number of reasons. The team went back to civiliation to prepare.

Session 4 (4/10/08)

Psychotic Soulless Murder machine.

Ike renegotiated with Jimmy Spoons on the issue of the Box, and established a group discount and a good deal on the Box. The team argued a bit about housing, and decided to proceed to the Tir, via ECCM and driving, (although later price quotes influenced them to go hiking.) and they met a date with Mafaer, and delivered Jimmy Spoons an extensive shopping list. They look some diesel, took their showers, and set out early the next morning.

The team made it to the edge of the Tir by early afternoon, and it was nightfall by the time they reached the border. They decided not to spend the night on the border, and pushed though. The next day, they reached The River. After some advice from Alex that Magic probably wasn't that big of a deal, Mafaer levitated the team across the river.

On the third day, the team made it to within sight of Mt. Hood, and were feeling the burn.

On the fourth day, the team came across a highway in little use but good repair, and had to approach the mountain. The team decided to get a good night's rest and used Alex's Earth elemental, who first tried to lead the team through the volcano, then over the Lava, and then, after much wheedling, around the mountain.

On the night of March 1st, there was a vehicle two kilometers out. The team prepared for meeting the heavy magical security. Alex squelched a watcher sentry spirit. He assaulted a guardian spirit. Mafaer started healing Alex, who renewed his assault. Ike went on recon towards a few trucks. It's elemental went to help, dumping Alex's body on the ground. Alex defeated the elemental, Mafaer healing him, and Alex discovered a ward that only defended against astral beings. Ike went forward.

Session 5 (4/17/08)

Into the woods and out of the woods and home before dark. - Steven Sondheim

Gojira showed up, and with a vehicle coming, Lacy took a shot to try to create convincing mechanical troubles and blew out a tire. Gojira and Ike were met by a female Dwarf who seemed to be expecting them, or someone. Lacy remained outside as rear guard, and the team went inside. The Earth Elemental led Malcom, Alex, Ari, and Mafaer down a tunnel of hot air. The ninjas finally encountered someone who realized they were not expected, and there was a fight. Ike stuck a ninjato into an unsuspecting elf, Gojira discovered magical protection with his boot and then went to kill the other guy. Ike went berserk. The fight over, Ike began to stabilize the lady elf.

Down-tunnel team heard footsteps. Lacy fired a non-silenced shot. Something began to attack Alex's elemental as Alex began to loot the body. Down-tunnel team was trapped by two rising walls of rock, and Ari panicked and began punching his way out. A milky black ghostly form projecting anti-light appeared in the tunnel, and began to bargain from a position of strength. And then Mafaer blew up the rock wall.

Meanwhile...

The ninjas discovered an underground cavern, lit by lava, with a summoning circle in it. Ike went down to break the circle. The ninjas successfully broke the circle, began to make their way down a side corridor, and then met a fire elemental, which they chose to try to avoid. They ran away, and then Gojira shot it in the head with an assault rifle. ... The team met up in a bit by Gojira, and Alex was attacked by the mage. Mal and Ari opened fire with grenades, and then Malcom's grenade launcher was triggered, blowing Malcom and Ari were blown sideways. Alex said something about the mage being invisible, and Ari went full-auto and hit a blue flash with the last bullet. And again. And again, and this time Alex opened up with a stunball and Malcom opened up with his remaining gun. The earth opened up and swallowed Ari, who did his best to resist being crushed by an earth elemental. Alex and Mafaer helped and the elemental was destroyed. Ike had been climbing across the ceiling, got blown off of it, and began to engage in combat with the invisible shielded mage. The elementals told Alex that "the master is coming" and Ike continued to fight the invis-o-mage. Ari readied the fire extinguisher when Alex relayed this information. With a final stab, Ike killed the mage. The Lava Monster began to overflow the bank.

Meanwhile...

Gojira took off running. Gojira shot and killed someone with a gun who was running at him. Then Gojira found a dead troll with trinkets. Lacy saw pursuit on Gojira and took one out. Gojira began to discuss with the enemy the wisdom of not fighting him or the Lava Monster, but only one evacuated. He grenaded them with HE defensives, and then grenaded them again with a flashbang, and killed the stragglers. They found a wall of lava engulfing some of the complex staff.

The team grabbed the jeeps at the front and DTFA'd. The volcano exploded, and Malcom and Mafaer raced away. Then Malcom's jeep skid and tumbled down the mountain, 300 meters downslope before it skid to a halt.

Session 6 (4/24/08)

Mal, Gojira, and Ari slowly regained consciousness. Mafaer's car all got worried. Alex looked around in astral space and found an elemental and confirmed that Mal, Gojira, and Ari were all alive. Alex called in his fire elementals. Mal and Gojira regained consciousness. And moments later Ari did too. Ike and Lacy located a guy with an RPG aimed at the vehicle. Ari made a hole in the back of the van. The man with the RPG fired, hit the car, and launched Ari out of the back. The earth elemental that flipped the truck kept following it. The jeep on fire, Malcom tried to claw his way out from the wreckage. The Mafaer car began to drive directly down the mountain after Lacy

The crashed team: Gojira continued to deal with the sniper, Ari helped Malcom out of the vehicle. Mafaer kept going down the hill. Ari gave Malcom his Ares, but the firefight was over. Alex encountered another mage. Lacy sighted incoming, 300 meters downslope. Mafaer brought the jeep in for a hard landing, where it hit the other jeep and slid onto its side.

Alex managed to negotiate a truce with the bogeys downhill, and after a slight misunderstanding. Mafaer and Alex healed the team, and then Mal, Lacy, and Ari went up to right the jeep. After a brief discussion, they draped the food and supplies over the jeep, piled in, and headed north, avoiding highways and major roads. They made it to the river and stopped for the night.

In the morning, Mafaer levitated the team across the river. They pushed across the border and rested. The next day the reached the vehicles and drove to Daniel's cabin. The spirit of the land took Daniel Two-Tons' necklace; Ari took some of the Library at Alex's request. Some of the team had messages.

For Gojira, "retaliation has begun." For Ari from Travis: "we have work to do" backdated by six days. From Jo "we have huge issues" backdated 3 days.

The team delivered the box. Jimmy took the big fuck-off knife. A piece of spell defense, a piece of offensive magic, and a piece of shape-able magic. The team paid Mafaer and went home. Meeting Jo, they learned what they'd been missing in Seattle, that there was a problem with the cops, and that she was being followed. Ike, with Gojira close behind, cut off Jo's tail, a young Japanese kid and delivered it to her. A man in a towncar was waiting, and he was associated with Paul, a Mr. Johnson, and the team went to meet him. Lacy was visibly upset upon seeing him. Gojira confronted "Lacy" Anderson,

Session 7 (5/8/08)

Ari walked out, hoping to get some space and bury his Thesis while he was at it. A few moments later, the Lacy came in saying there was incoming, and they were coming in heavy. Alex went Astral, chased down a watcher spirit and killed it as it was trying to warn a mage. There was a mage, a decker/rigger, and a street sam. Lacy detected two teams and blew out the wall. Ari heard the explosion, turned around, got shot in the back hard and started running for cover. Alex summoned his fire elementals, most of the team piled into the van, and a heavy machine gun began to tear it up. Ari, badly wounded, fled from his pursuers. Turned out that the machine gun was mounted on a pick-up truck. Ari ran out and emerged towards the back of the warehouse, the van started to roll through the warehouse and out the back. The fire elemental began to cook off the machine gun ammo. It turned out they were a shadow-team. Ari got into the van and bled until Alex healed him.

Lacy gave new information: Yamatetsu was responsible for Neugenics. Mal did a bug sweep and found another bug, the team moved to a new shithole for the night and got some rest. The next day, Malcom stole a bike, and tried to steal a van but was identified and had to crash it. Ike went to check out the new hideout and started to outfit it. Ari rescheduled the meeting with his contact for Sunday night.

Jerry the Irishman was there at the meet. A shipment from Korea carrying something was coming in, four days hence, and moving to Denver by truck. The team discussed all this, worked on the new hideout, and prepared for the new run.

Session 8 (5/15/08)

Planning session: The ship is the Mona Lisa. The team wants three of the shipping crates that are on the ship. The plan involves tagging the crates with tracking devices via invisible ninjas at the docks, then hitting the trucks with the help of the Jackals when the trucks go into the Barrens.

Lacy tells the team that it was the Shiawase special forces that kicked them out of their previous home.

During the run, the entire team comes under attack at the same time despite being seperated. The opfor seems to have either been tipped off, or had an usually perceptive perimeter defense. The van is destroyed. Ari and Mafaer get away, Gojira and Ike are captured and Alex and Malcolm are awaiting their own captures. Malcolm warns away the Jackals and lets Lacy know what's happened on the off chance she can help.

Session 9 (6/11/2008)

Ike, Gojira, Mal, and Alex are taken into custody and escorted into a building on the edge of Auburn and Downtown. Ari and Mafaer met up with Lacy and she agreed to get a friend of hers to track down the rest of the team. The captured team's hosts, aside from keeping them in an ad-hoc prison, were fairly hospitable. Lacy, now a hot Irish chick, gave Ari a present of a new gun, and the three of them (Ari, Mafaer, and Lacy) began to set up an expedition to torture the whereabouts of the rest of the team out of the man who'd given them the job.

The captured team's captor, Strickland, had a chat with the team. He informed them that he wanted something against them, but that they were more valuable alive. He was from the team that was at the Jolene Belnap site, and was looking for the late Dennis Miller's late girlfriend.

It turned out that the team had 300,000 nuyen worth of bounties on their heads to "The Black Stalkers." It turned out Lacy's contact had been compromised, because the cops showed up moments before Ari, Mafaer, and Malcom were set to breech.

Gojira, Mal, Ike, and Alex are led into a warehouse (Gojira manages a brief burst of communication with Ari on the way) and introduced to five asians, mostly Yaks and a Ring. Gojira is sassy at the lead Yak. The woman in charge of the tribunal was Miko Ishikawa, the most powerful Yak woman in the world. She explained that damages were high for the nightclub, the sushi restaurant, and the warehouse... ?) She gave the team the duty of taking apart Rowena Finnigan's covert ops arm. It is revealed that Gojira is a yakuza, and he offers a position in the Ichiwaraki to her. The team gets instructions to the team to hunt down and kill Ari's loan shark Travis, and to Jerry DePalma, the two men who set up the team.

The team meets up to discuss ways to find Travis McFarlane and Jerry DePalma. They staked out at Travis' office, and Ike turned off the heat exchanger, they waited around for a while and then Ike breeched, carried Travis back into the van, and Gojira put the faraday on his head. The duct-taped the guy and interrogated him for a while, and then sped off to find the other one.

Session 10 (6/24/08)

The team gets a moving fix on DePalma's phone and tracks him to a Rite-Aid, and begins to tail his Cadillac. Lacy showed up and gave them precise directions. They find the car at a residential area, and Gojira and Ari enter the house via the front door. Gojira stealths in, but Ari knocks over the dishes in the kitchen. Ari tossed a CS grenade into the room with DePalma and Fast Mike, and Gojira wept around the corner and booted Fast Mike in the chest, who went flying and then pulled a gun. Jerry DePalma appeared and pulled a shotgun on Ari, to no effect, and Ari proceeded to try to wrest the gun from his grip, succeeding only in bending it before DePalma ripped it away. Gojira threw Fast Mike across the room, and, divested from his weapon, Mike chose to flee via the window. DePalma, much stronger than Ari suspected, pushed him back and shot him point-blank, at which point Gojira blindsided him. Ari grabbed the gun, began to attack DePalma's hands, and wound up with a new gun, (heavily used). DePalma tried to duck behind Gojira, hit him hard. Ari punched him in the gut, and as the gas filled the room, Ari put his mask on, but was punched in the head. He exited the building with a broken mask, and Gojira had to stagger out. Ari climbed the house and shot at him, but he shot back with a hand cannon and fell. Gojira shot his legs out and started to kick the shit out of him. DePalma kicked Gojira in the balls, but was not in really a position to crawl away as he intended. Gojira pressed the gun to him, Jerry tried to arm-bar Gojira, who stabbed him in the face with his horn.

Ike loaded the two hostages into the Sedan, and they asked Travis a few questions, discovered he was in fact culpable for a frame-up, and completed the mission.

Taking some downtime, they begin to try to track down their third target, with Lacy's help.

Spoons' information had McHale exchanging narcotics and money with koreans. The team plans on having total control over the situation, in communication, in territory control, and in inciting chaos between the two groups exchanging narcotics.

Session 11 (7/1/08)

The team eventually decides that they will dig a hole in the sub-basement and Ari, Mafaer, Ike, and Alex will hide in it until the exchange, at which point Ari was required to take Bliss to keep calm. At 6:30, the warehouse became occupied and the team was forced into cover. The rest of the team staked out and recorded the building. As time wore on, the first dosing wore off and he lasted a while before having to take a second.

As the run approached, more and more people began to filter in, including a car, coming in by ramp. At 10:38, the team breeches the hole, and at 10:39 they made ascent. Ari tossed a flash pack out to the side, Alex told the Elementals to attack, Mafaer drew a lot of attention, and Ike shot the guy in the corner in the face. Ari picked a target, reconsidered, picked the target in front of him,who dodged out of the way and Ari ended up hitting his original target.

As Alex used the elementals to destroy the target and the mage, their mage made Alex's skin red and his elementals a bit uncomfortable. Ike closed and fired, and Ari shot a guy with a high-velocity weapon. A grenade was lobbed and the van started to accellerate away. The firefight raged, and suddenly Ari was hit with a ball of magic that knocked him on his ass. The van continued its escape, and Ike began to pursue the van.

Meanwhile, Gojira had shot a man on a bike and was moving in on the van, and the members of the team that were mobile began to follow the van.

Session 12 (7/8/08)

Malcom is being in the van, speeding toward a fire in the Rim when he runs over one of the Twins. Everyone is there and exits the van to find. Everyone is moving strangely. People are dying in the Jackal's manor, and the other Twin, on his bike, is coming. Alex begins to see a facility, and sees Lacy cradling the girl twin, who is hooked up to a machine. Ike is led down an alley and finds a lock to go with his key. Gojira can see nothing but a gray fog.

Reality reasserts itself. The escaping van crashes. Those who are running stumble. Ike fires the gun. Ari is in pain again. Alex fades gently back into reality. Ari assessed a thread and fired true at the last guy with an SMG. There is background count everywhere. Gojira charges forward and throws a grenade which knocked a thug on his ass. Ike disemboweled the guy and tries to get ready to board the van. Gojira unloads on the sports car, which dodges. The drone unloads on a vehicle on a collision course and disables it, and the sports car decides to go the other way. Ike catches up with the van and swings inside. The sports car sideswiped Gojira.

Ike stabbed the passenger of the van in the back, and then the van explodes. Ike is blown out the back as the mage self-destructs and the van is taken out of the picture. Gojira's grenade blew a chunk off the sports car. Malcom unloads on the sports car as it passes. Malcom fired a grenade but missed, the drone targeted the other drone. Malcom shoots his last grenade and hits the sports car, knocking pieces off. Mafaer fires a spell off and the sports car stops.

The last car goes down to the drone and someone escapes, and gojira takes him out. But Mikael was nowhere to be seen. Ari picks up Ike and Alex and they make an escape in the caddy. Healing goes on, and Ike runs the drugs into a coffin hotel, Alex summoned a watcher spirit, and after a few preperations they go to the safehouse Lacy had identified.

The team started to make their approach. Ike and Gojira make a stealthy approach and Mal and Ari less so. Alex is camping the mage and starts to deal with two earth elementals. He decides to leave and go back to meatspace.

Ari was about to deal with the watcher when the watcher came out, fired, and missed from two feet. Ari took him down without blinking and grabbed the gun. Ike broke the window, Mafaer covered Malcom with a beefinator spell and and an armor spell, and Malcom engages Mikael. Mikael's shots bounced off Malcom and Malcom's shot took out Mikael. Gojira was suckered by an illusion. Ike enters the building, Ari takes out the mage, Ike finishes off Mikael and the team gets out alive.

Session 13 (7/15/08)

The team booked it into the Puyallup barrens, and Gojira passed out. Mal started to pick up an electrical storm coming in and Lacy checked in with the team and warned them about the heat. The team looked for a place to put the cars and found a place to hide them, discussed things for a bit, and headed north away from the incoming humanoids. Alex was distracted by chaotic astral space as the team headed north. The rain started coming down very, very hard. As the team moved into the more populated edges of the barrens when Ike began hallucinating and the team encountered the people that have been watching them.

A ghoul was talking, and the team was surrounded. Ike, having scaled to the rooftops, began looking for the ghoul, while it rapidly became clear that if the team surrendered tactical ability they would die. Alex threw a spell that knocked down all the guys in front of the team. THe guys in back started moving up and gojira took one out. Ari ran across the street to try to get to the one Alex had pointed out but that hadn't made its presence known, and Ike must have had the same thought, because he jumped across the road. Mafaer took out the other read guard. The team stomped the ambush and ran for it, with Ari taking point when he got blindsided by three guys with guns and dove behind a water fountain. As Ari gets picked apart by the snipers until he dives for cover, picks up the supermach, and takes apart one guy with the supermach, and the rest of the team makes short work of the others.

Alex goes to seek out the ghoul astrally and tries once to beat him down. A truck comes in and Gojira shoots the guy in the truck and Mal's doberman starts to take apart the truck itself. An RPG comes out of another roof position and takes a piece off of the drone. Opposition fled, the team holes up in the building as Mafaer heals Alex, a mob converges on the team. Ari uses a flashpack to ruin night vision, and Gojira engages in a firefight. RPG guy fires a rocket and hits the building, and the drone takes fire as well. Ari takes fire from a WWII era machine gun. The team decides to leave. Gojira takes a shot and descends to the first floor, with Ari close behind. Malcom takes a shot at Mr. machine gun and wings him, as does the drone, and drops him. The drone gets knocked over, Malcom rights it, and the team extracts.

They run, the drone gets cut off and starts firing at the mob and gets overwhelmed. The ghoul continues taunting the team, and the team goes in an alleyway and into a building. Alex lets loose the fire elementals as Gojira and Ari take up windows on their respective floors and Ike scouts te building. The ghoul destroys Alex's elementals. Smoke grenades get them across the street, where Gojira takes fire, and Malcom, Mafaer, and Ari follow. Gojira takes out one guy, Mafaer the other, and the team continues forward.

Alex engages the ghoul as it pops out to take out the elemental, meets Alex blow for blow, but Alex's elementals begin to give him an advantage and he starts to cut into the ghoul.

Gojira draws fire from the next group as Mafaer fires off the grenade launchers, and it's assholes and elbows flying everywhere. The meatspace team runs.

Back in astral space, the elementals and Alex are fighting.

As the team flees, they come into contact with a "helpful" shadowrun team of Strickland, who offers the team a lift.

Session 14 (7/29/08)

As the team prepares to evacuate by chopper, magic happens and the chopper explodes. Strickland's team collapses the buildings between the magicmob and the team. They pile into an APC and flee, and Strickland starts talking. Strickland, a Shiawase "contracter" expresses interest in Project Epsilon.

The team met Jimmy Spoons for some shopping, got some ammo. Gojira ordered a pastoral getaway in the barrens from Jo, Alex used some elementals to dig out a hideaway. Ari went climbing out in the barrens and when Ike was recouperated, the two of them began work on the warehouse again. The team advertised for jobs. They spend much time setting up the new digs, and on Monday the 28th, Ike gets a call from Lacy.

There has been activity up by where the Jackals hang out, by the rim. The team goes out to meet the Spiders, and the plan is to go find out what happened to the Jackals afterwards. Gojira and Ike go in to see the boss. They pass a pit fight and go in to a poker game. The Ork lieutennant Tem of the Shadowrunners. He gave Gojira and Ike a message: "Bluejay" and they leave. Ike lays networks for novacoke dealings.

The team gets to the Rim at dark and passes through Spookytown and the Jackal's mansion is unlit. There are bodies with burn marks. Rounding the bend, there are bodies everywhere and the building used to be on fire. Upon investigation, none of the Jackals died of gunshots, it was all blunt force trauma or fire between one and two weeks before. Ari times it to occur at or around the Mikhael run and the visions. Gojira finds some strange technology and a secret room.

Ike stays outside, while Ari girds himself and follows Gojira and Alex follows soon after. Ike finds research data in the The team finds a duffel bag full of money and a computer node. Ike attains access and it turns out to be an auxilliary access node to the RTG. The node is full of heavy encryption, and the team decides to leave it there and flee before night falls.

They give the hot cash to Jimmy for laundering and discuss the possibility of stealing a tanker truck. Early the next morning the team drives out to spookytown. The gas tanker had 75,000 liters and the team negotiated a settlement for it with the Spiders. The team also salvaged a machine gun from one of the humvees and some other salvage, and the team gets moving.

The semi's brakes have been cut. Gojira tries to swerve to slow down, Alex tries putting up a physical barrier, Gojira tries to run up against the side of the cliff face to stop. And the trailer kept going.

Session 15 (8/5/08)

Gojira struggles madly to control the trailer. Ike struggles madly to keep from being crushed under it. Ari struggles madly to find something he can do to help. Gojira ditches the truck and skids to a halt. The team decides to leave the scene of the fireball. Ari goes to destroy the node, but the darkness is there and Ari sees the scene of his nightmare, and decides to leave before Timmy gets on his bike. Alex stunballs the house. Alex and Ike see the dark rider cruising down main street. After having multiple plans to destroy the node backfire on him, Ike emails the node and tells the security programs that the power supply is an invading decker.

Ike takes a way toward the place where the key fits, and the rest of the team tries to follow him, because he's behaving suspiciously. Ike makes entry and cases the joint, and finds pictures of Andrew Dyson, Paul Stevens, Jolene Belnap, Dennis Moorehouse, et al. It is Lacy's (Denise Anderson's) office of at least a year ago. Ike discretely makes exit.

When Alex and Ari get home, Lacy is there waiting for them and gets the two talking about plans for entry.

When Gojira gets home, he finds Hanzo's dragon waiting for him, and the two begin to discuss immortality.

The team, except for Gojira, spends a good deal of time thinking out a plan, and arrives at the conclusion taht surveilance is necessary.

Gojira spends that nighttrying to lure Tina with tops and wakes up somewhere else.

The next day, Ike and Ari get driven out to the mountains and set up a powerful camera and a maser beam transmitter. Gojira comes back, bugged, and the team has to vacate the premesis.

The team spends some more time doing stuff, and Gojira gets a line on the last yakuza job, and the team convenes, gets a call, and goes back to the sushi restaurant for a conversation with the Yakuza woman. The job is Mark Piscioni, Rowena's right-hand man. Specifically, it is to steal the Butcher's helecopter, kill Mark, set up the Butcher's men, and, wonder of wonders, get paid to do so. They have two ready-made patsies and require three more. For a million Nuyen total.

Sure that they are about to be executed, the team discusses their future.

Session 16 (8/12/08)

The team decides it is nearly certain Miko intends them to die. Gojira asks for an interview with the Dragon.

After some downtime, movement is spotted at the facility. The patrols have all come in, and Ike finds out that this corresponds to reports of explosions from Auburn, possibly PE01. The team makes a few comments and then all the nearby cameras go dead except for the main screen, which shows an instructional video.

Fuji Cybersystems Expert System 24 Know Your Knowbot Technical specifications 1: The systems is effective at defense 2: The system was designed to counterinfiltrate. et cetera. A picture of a gremlin appears, and it rapidly becomes clear that Ike has brought the Gremlin into the team's life, and it then reports to it's masters.

The team sabotages the apartment and leaves.

Gojira, meanwhile, gets a meeting with the Dragon, and receives information to the effect of "cut and run, or play the game better than Miko can." Then he gets the message to bug out.

Ike goes into a metal shipping container and begins to negotiate with the agent on his computer, and the rest of the team gets some sleep. The next morning, the networking tendrils go out and the team begins to link back up at the hotel room.

Ike's plan is to use Rowena, Strickland, and the Butcher, with the RTG node as bait, as a distraction while the team will hit alpha complex at the facility's lowest state of readiness. The team starts to plan the alpha strike.

The team gets party hats, plans for mortars, plasma cutters, C12, a demo chip, and Mafaer. The team discusses the specifics of getting Mafaer, and of getting other assets. Lacy promises a deck.

Session 17 (8/19/08)

The team finalizes their plan and ramps up the assault on the police station. They plan Nacroject pistols (and a supersquirt for Gojira), some C12 as a distraction, gas grenades and masks, thermite, a substation failure, split-squad tactics, and the works.

The night of the run, the team picks up their stuff from Spoons, triggers the distraction at 3:27 and the power at 3:42. Lacy shoots out the lock on the door and Ike and Gojira mage the garage, split the two guys between them, and Ike nacojects the guy at the computer desk, and Gojira drops the guy under the car. Both look around for the generator, find it as it cuts on, and cut it open. Ari, Malcom, and Alex arrive in the garage. Ari secures the room and starts covering the entrances, Malcom sets up shop, and Alex speeds through with a riot shield.

Ike and Gojira hear someone coming, trip him and knock him out. They cut the door to the armory open, and Ike finds some people coming their way and hides from them on the ceiling. Someone passes him, Ike checks the lobby, and there are people. He deals circuspectly with a cop, and when that is no longer an option, he and Gojira begin to narcoject the guards as they're looking at Ed's pistol.

Malcom disables the security on the van as Ari and Alex cover the garage entrances.

Ike hears life become a horror movie for one of the remaining cops.

Ike goes sneaking around some more goodies, gets seen, and places a teargas grenade, and Gojira blows open the weapons locker as Ari goes to help with the heavy lifting. Malcom begins to open a secured storage container, and Gojira and Ari begin to loot the armory. Six suits of armor, assault rifles, teargas launchers, and the team splits. Alex and Mal have also rescued two roto-drones.

Ari, Gojira, and Ike repair away in the pussy wagon and Malcom in the Paddy wagon, and they disappear into the night.
