A slight and nervous man of Japanese/Philippine decent, Hiro is a Yakuza with the distinction of having all ten of his fingers at the age of 37. Originally a street kid in Manilla, Hiro was the product of an assault by a Philipino on a Japanese woman. His father was executed for the crime, and his mother was fired from her corporation for dishonoring herself. She died when he was seven of malaria, and it was only a few years after that Hiro became involved in the local Yakuza. He started as a petty thief, numbers runner, and such, but as he grew older became more and more involved in the operation of the Yakuza. His career peaked when the clan council in Sydney decided to investigate any possible cracks in the Hondo organization in Seattle. He was assigned a large contingent of Pilipino Yakuza, but ended up in Seattle with only one; Gojira. The rest were pulled from his taskforce to deal with threats from an Indochinese syndicate attempting to muscle in on the piracy trade in the Spratley Islands. Hiro has no fixed location, but is usually somewhere in the Barrens, trying to avoid any purge by the Hondo organization.
