Lost in the Details
Lost in the Details is the second Act of the SR3 story Cult of Personality. The general theme of the Act so far has been confusion and job juggling as the team is trying to split time between several competing jobs while trying to keep the past from haunting them. Lost in the details also saw the addition of Gojira to the team and the loss of Nathan.

Session 7 (2/28/08)
The team spends a fair amount of time in "downtime mode". Gojira and Ari go to Jo's to help heal quicker. Malcolm picks up a rating 6 bug scanner and a rating 4 signal jammer. Malcolm then goes to Jo to get his VCR installed and spends a week resting up. Ike spends his time training his firearms and so does Ari. Alex goes into hard-core research mode and upgrades a couple of his spells and learns a few he purchases. After about a week and a half everyone regroups and decide what to do. Malcolm has analyzed the Neugenics Datastore and Ike goes to the next step. The team argues for a while again about the ethics of killing Wendigo and Dietrich's reliability.
The team decides to return to Sophocles to interrogate the Spiders about the bits of information they got from the ghost girl. They learn that the girl's name is Tina and the boy's is Timmy and they are both somehow linked to the weirdness in the rim. With that information they decide to return to the rim and investigate further. While they find little evidence it does not take long before they experience more paranormal activity. The festivities include random sensor anomalies on Malcolm's whirly-bird, strange tracks in the sprinkling rain, and overly aggressive walls. The team finally returns to the van to find that at least one anomaly was not pure perception. Something unlocked the Van.
Session 9 (3/13/08)
Our intrepid heroes, having recently completed a paying job, comes to a halt over the corpse of Daniel Yang. Ike discovered another corpse who is, in fact, dressed in the same black security armor that Paul's guards wore. Gojira discovered he was killed by some sort of piercing wound. The team hears automatic fire, but Malcom reports nothing on sensors. Mothra out, team closing. Malcom found the building the shots were fired in. The team (Ari and Gojira) deployed, melee weapons out. Two guards dead, one injured. "They didn't tell us the Vault was open." *Dead* Shot, others physically destroyed. They had lots of explosives, but the shooter got a way on 90.
After much time talking about vampires, spirit samples, the team heads to beta facility at 9:30, and got there at about 10:30-11. Malcom's drone got blown up by hostile drones. The team deployed and attacked, and the drones attacked Gojira with some sort of explosive. Gojira downed it, and another, this one armed with anti-personnel rather than anti-vehicle weaponry, and hit and wounded Ari. Gojira dropped it neatly.
Malcom got the drone's hard drive, Ike and Gojira went to scope out Beta facility. Beta team's presence was detected by a watcher spirit, and they decided to go all out. All facing cameras were destroyed by Gojira, the team advanced and opened the loading dock with a grenade. Alex went toe-to-toe with a mage in Astral space.
A fight in the loading dock, and Malcom got lethal. Meanwhile, Ike and Lacy, who had intended to be the primary assault, entered the building from the other end and on the roof. Lacy slit the throat of one enemy and Ike shot the other. In the loading dock, the last guard surrendered, noting under questioning that the mage and rigger were down, the call for backup had gone out and enemies would soon be on the way. Gojira found a cryogenic storage facility in the basement, and Malcom began downloading the building's datastore.
